Customising Communications

Configuring your organisation's email branding, templates and preferences

Volaby sends emails to your volunteers for rostering, onboarding, bulletins and more. You can customise how those emails look and which ones are sent from Admin Console > Communications.

Preferences

The Preferences section controls the global look and feel of all outgoing emails:

  • Greeting — how volunteers are addressed at the start of emails

  • Logo — your organisation's logo, shown in the email header and on the sign-in page

  • Reply email — the email address volunteers see when they reply to a Volaby email

  • Sign-off — the closing line at the bottom of emails

Templates

The Templates section lists every email Volaby can send. For each template you can:

  • Preview the email content

  • Disable the email entirely if you don't want it sent

  • Send a test email to yourself to see how it looks

  • Add custom content to the email for organisation-specific information

  • Override the entire email with your own content if the default template doesn't suit your needs

Permissions

Only Admins can access and edit communication settings.
