Managing Your Account

Changing your personal details, password and account settings

Your account settings are where you update your personal information, change your password, manage authentication, and control communication preferences. To open them, click the icon in the top right corner of your screen and select Account Settings.

Edit Profile

Update your personal details:

  • First name, last name, preferred name

  • Date of birth

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Profile photo (upload, change or remove)

  • About me

Click Save Changes when you're done. Your changes are reflected across Volaby immediately.

Account settings don't cover information submitted through tasks (like a Working with Children Check or driver's licence). Those are managed separately in your tasks.

Change Password

Enter your current password and then your new password. Click Submit to save the change. Your new password is ready to use the next time you sign in.

Communication

Toggle Send Calendar Invites on or off to control whether roster events are automatically added to your calendar.

Authentication

Set up an authenticator app for multi-factor authentication. Once configured, you'll be asked for a code from the app each time you sign in.

Deactivate Account

If you no longer volunteer with the organisation, you can deactivate your own account from here. Deactivating logs you out immediately.

To reactivate your account after deactivating, contact your organisation directly.
