How to access attachments uploaded by your volunteers

To access the files (pdfs, jpegs, pngs etc.) that your volunteers may have been required to upload during their volunteering journey, you will need to access your volunteers profiles. It's important to note that a CSV export taken from the volunteer database will not include any file attachments uploaded during completion of onboarding or general tasks. See steps below on how to download these attachements.

  1. Navigate to the volunteer database, by clicking Volunteers on the task bar.

  2. Within the "Volunteer Database" tab, select a volunteer by clicking on their name. You can find a specific volunteer quickly in a large group of volunteers by using the search bar and entering either their name or email address.

  3. The volunteers profile will open in a new dialog box. Scroll to the section that says "Complete Tasks" and click "View Tasks" to expand and see a view of all tasks assigned to the volunteer.

  4. Select the relevant task containing the attachment you wish to download by clicking anywhere within the tile.

  5. You will see a new dialog box open containing the content of the task and any attached files. Select "Download" within the attachment you wish to download.

  6. The file will populate in the downloads folder on your computer/device.

  7. To download another file within the same volunteer profile, select "Close" and then repeat steps 4 & 5 for each task.
