Hi there!

Yes, we know there is a lot in this one, so we'll lay it all out for you.

  1. Visible Programs
This means your volunteers can now see programs, apply to be part of them and even hide specific programs.

  2. Session Full Notification for Open Activities
Open roster activities gives your volunteers the power to roster themselves on as they like. This notification will now relieve some admin work. If you provide the minimum and maximum volunteers for that session and they apply, they will be notified that they have been marked as available but the session is full so they are not rostered on for the moment.

  3. Reordering of Tasks for Volunteers
More options for customisability with your onboarding, you can now change the order of how tasks appear to tailor your user experience.

  4. Role Badges Appear on Volunteer Database
Roles and their accompanied badges are now visible within the Volunteer Database.

Still a lot?

We will break this down for you below:

Visible Programs

Why is this amazing?

  • Volunteers can see information about a program and apply

  • You can also turn off apply and have volunteer join programs as they need!

  • You can customise these settings per every program

  • Less admin work needed for leaders to add volunteers to programs

  • Programs can be hidden, this can be useful during the onboarding phases

  • You can keep track of volunteers interest in other programs within Volaby

Examples:

  • If programs are used as locations, volunteers moving or wanting to travel can now apply/join

  • Programs utilised for volunteering opportunities, such as leadership roles, regular volunteering, etc. can now be viewed along with their information and applied for

  • You might have a program that is used for staff that you would prefer volunteers not to see or apply to join during their onboarding, this can now be hidden

Session Full Notification for Open Activities

Why is this amazing?

  • Volunteers can see when sessions are full but still pop in their availability

  • Takes admin work away from your leaders

  • Clearer communication with your users

Reordering of Tasks for Volunteers & Role Badges Appear on Volunteer Database

Why is this amazing?

  • More customisation for your organisation

  • You can give your users the intended experience during onboarding

  • Better visibility over your volunteer's skills

We are really excited about the possibility these features give our partners. Please reach out if you need any assistance.
