Viewing the email and SMS history for individual volunteers

Every email and SMS Volaby sends to a volunteer is logged and visible from their profile. Use this to check whether a volunteer received a specific communication, see if they opened it, or troubleshoot delivery issues.

Viewing a volunteer's communication history

  1. Open the volunteer's profile from the Volunteer Database

  2. Go to the Communications tab

You'll see every email and SMS sent to that volunteer, newest first. Each entry shows:

  • Subject (for emails) or message content (for SMS)

  • Send time and sender

  • Delivery status: Sent, Delivered, Opened, Clicked, or Bounced

Click any message to see its full content.

Searching and filtering

For volunteers with a long communication history, click View More to open the full list with search and filtering by type, date and time.
